A twist. That is what I chose for my first year post-grad. As a 2023 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations & Advertising and a double minor in Cognitive Science & Spanish, I had to put a spin on my entrance into "the real world." I have been chasing a couple of dreams I couldn't quite ignore before jumpstarting my career in creative advertising — a decision that was about diving into life, pushing boundaries, and discovering the drive it takes to succeed in this fast-paced world.

 

Raised in the smallest county in North Carolina, my dreams to live in the biggest city in the country as a travel nanny for a high-profile family, then climb the ranks to run one of Breckenridge's Ski & Snowboard schools, seemed to do the trick. I have been pushed and pulled in all directions the last two years. I was fortunate enough to dive headfirst into these experiences that have given me invaluable gifts of human understanding, management, efficient problem-solving, adaptability, and the grit needed to make a way for myself.

 

The world of creative advertising is the next dream I am chasing. Creative strategy begs for a unique 'twist' on human truths, uncovering insights that drive successful campaigns. That intersection of media, data, and creativity is where I want to be.
